A good read i found today from Apple watch in eWeek
There is another shortcoming that hampers iPhone 3G as a phone: Battery life. Standby life is great. In my testing, the battery lasts for days if the phone isn’t used. But 3G calling drains the battery surprisingly fast. Worse: Mixing telephony and data or other features. Apple’s mobile delivers great GPS coordinated with Google Maps. But it’s a battery-life sucking app. Battery life wouldn’t an issue if the battery could be swapped like the T-Mobile G1. I know people that recharge iPhone 3G two or three times a day or keep in it car-docked whenever they drive. A trickle of charge comes here, there and everywhere.
Other shortcomings come where Apple strangely chose to digress from standard features found on most other mobiles. SMS/MMS sending is makeshift. Apple expects people to send pictures via e-mail. Video is lacking, too. Have you talked to teens lately? These are commonly used capabilities.

Hey dude you always keep vilifying the Apple and its products.
I don’t think you are accustomed with iPhone and T-mobile G1. I found the iPhone battery is not so poor as you have mentioned here.

The purpose of articles such as the one you quote, and your posting it here
, is to generate traffic. When measuring battery life pick a number - any number. If the iPhone was not a good phone people would not buy it. But they have bought it and it has a high customer satisfaction rating - which should tell you more than the tainted opinions of some blogger.

@Duncan… Well i dont have an iPhone yet and i dont plan to buy it any time soon. The fact that it lack some of the very basic things a smartphone has is enough for me to buy other smart phones. Yes i 100% agree of iPhone’s simplicity and the revolutionary UI . I have iPod touch instead which i enjoy having over having iPhone .iPod touch has given me the satisfaction iPhone could give minus a phone
. For smartphone i would go for other phones like Sony Xperia or any HTC phone.

You might also want to note that this isn’t a Mac, this is an Apple product. And you also have to be honest with yourself, the iPhone is pretty much the coolest bit of technology you can currently get.
Using
yes it may be the coolest.. but being the coolest doesn’t necessarily mean the best

Best at what?

Best at What ???
( same question to you.. )

That’s not quite the point I was trying to make. You said that it isn’t the best product. I just wanted to know where you found the flaws in it. I’m sure I can list plenty of strengths in the product, I just don’t know why you don’t like it.
